Emily Eisenhart’s work explores the dynamic interplay between color, light, and form. From her detailed drawings to towering murals, every mark from her hand is an ode to the delicate harmony between the natural and built worlds. Her portfolio showcases her expressive style through color-soaked abstract landscapes and dimensional sculpture. Drawing inspiration from the fleeting interplay of light and shadow, the rich biodiversity of nature, and the tangible joy of making, her work is imaginative and experiential. Learn more about her artistic approach in her TEDx talk, ‘The Power of Everyday Creativity.’

Emily Eisenhart is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Austin, Texas. She draws inspiration from her creative and adventurous upbringing as the daughter of an artist and anthropologist. Whether wandering the coastal beaches of Washington, immersing herself in the rich culture and geography of the Southwest, or exploring Austin’s vibrant Greenbelt, she finds inspiration in the ever-changing colors, patterns, and textures of nature. As Founder of Studio Eisenhart, she collaborates with architects, designers, and organizations on commissions  that transform spaces through site-specific art rooted in culture and community. Varied in style, her work appears on a multitude of surfaces and mediums including murals, sculpture, and mixed media installations.
