Verdant Gallery is pleased to present their first exhibition: Attunement

Attunement features five Austin-based artists that explore the profound connection between artistic vision and the natural world. This exhibition invites viewers to experience art as a bridge between human consciousness and the rhythms of the earth. It is a process of becoming deeply aware of and harmoniously connected with the sensations of the natural world. Attunement evokes feelings of awe and wonder, a part of awakening to nature with indistinct boundaries between the perceptible and abstract.
Through painting, paper collage, and sculpture, the viewer is invited to move their observation to a more profound experience of empathy, respect and integration with the environment around us. Attunement showcases the connectedness of humans to nature and animals. The featured works celebrate the artists’ sensitive responsiveness to environmental subtleties - the quiet conversations between sky, water, flora and animals in their natural habitat.
Attunement reminds us that true artistic vision requires not dominance over our subject but surrender to its deeper wisdom, allowing ourselves to be taught by the very beauty we seek to express.
