Gabriella Pulsifer grew up in Austin, and her paintings are rooted in memory, ecology, and childhood wonder. Spending as much time outdoors as possible, she developed a deep connection to wildlife, water, and the natural world of Central Texas that continues to shape her work today.

After receiving a B.S. in Honors Biological Sciences from Clemson University, Gabriella returned to her origin: Austin. Back home, she began merging her scientific background with her artistic practice. Her paintings reinterpret the natural world through heightened color, dense vegetation, and rhythmic composition to create landscapes that feel both deeply familiar and slightly abstract.

Gabriella’s collection reflects a fascination with the textures and formations that repeat throughout nature — tangled plant growth, sedimentary layers, eroded stone, and rippling water. She transforms central Texas landscapes into vivid, emotionally charged environments.
